G1のみなさん、ようこそ関西国際学園初等部へ！
ご家族の皆様、ご入学おめでとうございます。
昨日、雲ひとつない快晴のもと、関西国際学園初等部の入学式を執り行いました。
新入生たちは、G6（小学6年生）のお兄さん、お姉さんとしっかりと手を繋いで入場しました。
緊張気味の新入生を優しくリードし、一歩ずつ歩幅を合わせるG6の姿。
初等部の一員として、新しい「コミュニティ」への心強い最初の一歩になりました。
入場曲は、在校生によるヴァイオリンの生演奏です。
ミュージックスクールでの学びの成果が、堂々とした音色となって式典を彩りました。
校長からの挨拶では、大切な約束が伝えられました。
「学校は、できなくてもいいからチャレンジする場所。
困ったときは先生たちが必ず皆さんを助けます。
失敗してもいい、やってみることが大切」
初等部での6年間は、たくさんの「はじめて」にぶつかりながら、試行錯誤を繰り返していく時間です。そのすべての経験が、お子さまの「生きる力」を育てていきます。
教職員一同、学校が子どもたちが安心してチャレンジできる場所になるよう努めてまいります。
学校とご家庭が手を取り合い、お子さまの成長を共に支えていきましょう。
We would like to welcome and congratulate new G1 students and their families to Kansai International Academy Elementary School!
We held our entrance ceremony under perfect weather yesterday.
The new G1 entered the ceremony while holding hands with the G6.
The G6 students walked gently, guiding the G1 students who were slightly nervous.
The G1 students have taken a foot forward and are now a part of a new community.
They were welcomed into the ceremony by the violin performance from the current KIA Elementary School students.
All of those years of learning at the music school culminated in a colorful performance at the ceremony.
Our head of school asked the students to keep an important promise.
“School is a place to challenge yourself. If you need help, teachers will support you. It’s okay to fail. The important thing is to try.”
During the six years at KIA Elementary School, students will come across many experiences for the first time. All of these experiences will help students cultivate essential life skills.
Teachers and staff will work together to ensure that students feel safe seeking new challenges.
