When someone thinks about the Mathematics subject, one might imagine rote memorization or solving problems quickly. In the IB (International Baccalaureate) DP (Diploma Programmes), the curriculum is much different compared to what the Japanese education offers.
For our June Coffee Morning, we will welcome Tadao Miyashiro who is the Head of School for the Kansai International Academy Kobe Campus. He will discuss how the IB subject can help students foster skills in their everyday lives and help them in the university admissions process.
This upcoming Coffee Morning is not only for parents for secondary students. We welcome parents from K&ELC to join us. After understanding the culmination of the IB DP, you’ll be able to better see how your children’s current learning connects to their future.
