帰国ホヤホヤのG10生が語る、1年間の挑戦とリアルな成長
関西国際学園の大きな特色の一つである、中高等部の「1年間海外留学」。
単なる語学留学ではなく、G5（小5）でのニュージーランド留学を原点に、中等部での丁寧なキャリアカウンセリングを経て、自らの意志で留学先を選び取り、挑戦するプログラムです。
7月のCoffee Morningでは、2025年夏に日本を出発し、今年7月上旬に帰国したばかりのG10（高1）の先輩4名をゲストスピーカーとして迎えます！
大人が語る留学のメリットではなく、「多感な時期に1年間、海外で1人で生き抜いた子どもたちの生の声」を聞ける、大変貴重な機会です。
今回のセッションの見どころ
帰国直後だからこそ語れる「リアルな体験談」 楽しかったこと、現地での生活やハプニングなど、みずみずしいエピソードをありのままに語ってもらいます。
「私、ここが変わりました」──内面の大きな変化 1年間の異文化生活を経て、視野はどう広がったのか？ 自立心や将来の夢にどんな変化があったのか、彼らの言葉から成長の軌跡が強く感じられるはずです。
乳幼児・初等部の保護者様へ：未来の「我が子」の姿がここに 「1年間の留学って、子どもをどう変えるの？」「まだ先のことだけど、どんな準備が必要？」そんな疑問を持つ保護者様にとって、数年後のお子様の輝かしい未来の姿をイメージできる絶好のチャンスです。

Freshly Returned G10 Students Share Their 1-Year Journey and Real Growth
One of the defining features of Kansai International Academy is our Secondary School’s “1-Year Study Abroad Program.” Far from being a standard language trip, this program builds upon the students’ initial experience in New Zealand during G5. Through personalized career counseling in Secondary School, students take ownership of their path, choosing their own destinations and embracing new challenges.
For July’s Coffee Morning, we are thrilled to welcome four G10 students who departed in the summer of 2025 and are returning to Japan early this July! Rather than hearing about the benefits of studying abroad from an adult’s perspective, this is a rare and precious opportunity to hear the raw, authentic voices of students who lived independently overseas for a year during such a formative stage of their lives.
Highlights of the Session
Fresh, Real-Life Stories Straight from Their Journey From the moments of joy and everyday life to unexpected mishaps, our students will share their vivid experiences exactly as they happened.
“How I Changed” － Deep Personal Growth How did their perspectives widen after a year in a different culture? What shifts did they experience in their independence and dreams for the future? You will truly feel the trajectory of their growth through their own words.
For Early Childhood & Elementary Parents: A Glimpse into Your Child’s Future “How does a year abroad change a child?” “It’s still far down the road, but what kind of preparation is needed?” For parents with these questions, this is the perfect opportunity to visualize the bright future awaiting your own child in just a few years.

Secondary School Parents: Those whose children are preparing for or considering studying abroad in the near future and want practical advice from seniors.

Come and meet our students, who have returned having grown leaps and bounds! Beyond what is written in the curriculum, come and discover the true “personal adventures” of our students.
