5月16日、神戸三宮のグリーンハウスヴァルトにて、神戸キワニスキークラブ・ビルダーズクラブの生徒たちによる環境ワークショップを開催しました。
神戸キワニスキークラブ・ビルダーズクラブには、関西国際学園、マリストブラザーズインターナショナルスクール、カナディアンアカデミーの生徒たちが所属し、国際的な社会貢献活動に取り組んでいます。
今回のワークショップでは、海洋プラスチック問題について知ってもらい、環境保護のために行動する仲間を増やすことを目的に、回収した海洋プラスチックを再利用したアクセサリー作りを行いました。
3回目となる今回は、神戸市周辺に住む年長児から小学生まで、多くの子どもたちが参加してくれました。楽しみながら環境問題について学び、未来について考える貴重な機会となりました。
On May 16, students from the Kobe Kiwanis Key Club / Builders Club hosted an environmental workshop at Green House Wald in Sannomiya, Kobe.
The Kobe Kiwanis Key Club / Builders Club brings together students from Kansai International Academy, Marist Brothers International School, and Canadian Academy to engage in international community service activities.
The purpose of this workshop was to raise awareness about marine plastic pollution and encourage more people to take action to protect the environment. During the event, participants created accessories by reusing collected marine plastic waste.
This was the third time the workshop had been held, and many children ranging from kindergarten age to elementary school students from the Kobe area joined the event.
It was a valuable opportunity for participants to learn about environmental issues while having fun and thinking about the future of our planet.
