昨年に続き、今年も10月25日に六甲アイランドで開催されたハロウィンフェスティバルに、神戸キワニスビルダーズクラブ・キークラブの活動の一環としてレモネード販売を行いました 🍋
関西国際学園神戸校中高等部は、マリストブラザーズインターナショナルスクールおよびカナディアン・アカデミーの生徒たちとともに、世界三大社会奉仕団体の一つである「国際キワニス」の中学生奉仕団体に所属しており、この日はカナディアン・アカデミーの生徒と協力して活動を行いました。
そして今年度からは、中等部の「神戸キワニスビルダーズクラブ」に加え、高等部主導の「神戸キワニスキークラブ」の活動も始まりました。
前回と同様、レモネードスタンドの活動を通じて、我々は六甲アイランドのチャイルド・ケモ・ハウスという重い病気を抱える子どもとその家族の滞在施設へ、売上高を全額寄付することが目的でした。レモネードの販売のほか、関西国際学園の生徒たちはスタンドの飾り付けのデザインと制作をし、当日はスタンドの前で積極的に声がけも行いました。
当園の生徒たちが参加した10月25日はあいにくの雨模様となりましたが、10月25日と26日の両日で605杯を売り上げることができました。

Carrying on from last year, the Kiwanis Builders & Key Club sold lemonade at the Halloween Festival held on October 25th at Rokko Island 🍋
The KIA secondary school collaborated with students from Marist Brothers International School and Canadian Academy. These schools are part of the Builders Club, the middle school branch of “Kiwanis International,” one of the world’s three major service organizations. On this day, KIA secondary students worked together with students from the Canadian Academy.
This year, the Kiwanis program has expanded to include the senior high “Kobe Kiwanis Key Club” alongside the junior high Builders Club.
Building on our previous project, our lemonade stand was held to donate all the profits to Child Kemo House on Rokko Island, a facility that supports children who are diagnosed with serious illnesses and their families.
Despite the rainy weather on October 25th, we managed and accomplished to sell over 605 cups of lemonade over two days! (Oct.25th,26th)
