サマースクールもいよいよ集大成！
子どもたちは暑さに負けず、夏を思いきり楽しんでいます☀️
Week4のテーマは 「Fun with Science! サイエンスを楽しもう！」 🔬
子どもたちは目を輝かせながら、さまざまな実験に挑戦しました！
中でも一番盛り上がったのは「浮力の実験」🧪
輪ゴムやコインなどを水の中に入れて、「浮く？沈む？」を体験しながら、浮力の不思議を学びました。
最後には、プラスチックストローを使って浮く舟を工作⛵️
それぞれ工作した船に３つのレゴブロックを乗せることができるかそれぞれ挑戦しました。
同じ材料でも、切り方や形の工夫があり個性豊かな舟がたくさんできました！
「絵本の舟と同じ形だから」「浮くものは丸い形が多いんだよ！」など、子どもたちの発想力に驚かされました👏✨

Our Summer School is reaching its grand finale!
Despite the heat, the children are full of energy and making the most of their summer fun. ☀️
The theme for Week 4 was “Fun with Science!” 🔬
The children’s eyes lit up with excitement as they explored a variety of science experiments.
The highlight of the week was the “Buoyancy Experiment”! 🧪
The students placed items like rubber bands and coins in water to investigate: “Will it float, or will it sink?”
Through this hands-on experience, they learned about the fascinating concept of buoyancy.
At the end, the children crafted their own floating boats using plastic straws. ⛵️
Each child tested their handmade boat to see if it could carry three LEGO blocks.
Even though everyone used the same materials, their boats came out in many unique designs, thanks to creative cutting and shaping!
We were amazed by the children’s imagination and reasoning —
Some said, “It’s the same shape as the boat in the picture book!” while others observed,
“Things that float are usually round!” 👏✨
At our Akashi Campus, children from preschool to kindergarten levels can join our Summer School. 🍉
