1月29日に関西国際学園神戸校にて恒例の「茶話会」を開催しました。 今回のゲストは、株式会社オニヴァ代表の齊藤郁子さん。
かつてハイテク産業の最前線で世界を舞台に活躍されていた齊藤さん。 現在は、山を耕し、水を守り、自然の生態系と調和した暮らしを実践されています。
「便利さ」や「効率」を追求する現代社会の中で、私たちがつい見失いがちな「本当の豊かさ」。
AIや最先端の道具を使いこなしながらも、根底にあるのは「人間としてのたくましさ」と「品格」。
変化の激しい時代に、私たちが子どもたちに手渡せる「バトン」とは何か？参加した保護者の皆様と共に、深く、静かに考える時間となりました。
齊藤さんの口から語られる言葉は、子育て真っ只中の保護者の皆様の心に深く響き、中には涙を浮かべる方もいらっしゃるほど、温かく、かつ刺激に満ちたひとときとなりました。

On January 29th, we hosted our regular “Round Table” at our Kobe Campus. We were honored to welcome our guest speaker, Ms. Ikuko Saito, CEO of Oniva Inc.
Having previously worked at the forefront of the high-tech industry on a global stage, Ms. Saito now leads a life in harmony with nature in Kamiyama, Tokushima—restoring forests, protecting water sources, and practicing sustainable agriculture. In a modern society that often prioritizes “convenience” and “efficiency,” her journey invites us to rediscover the essence of “true wealth.”
While she expertly navigates the world of AI and cutting-edge technology, her philosophy is rooted in fundamental “human resilience” and “dignity.” What is the “baton” we can pass down to our children in this rapidly changing era? It was a profound time of reflection for all the parents in attendance.
Ms. Saito’s words resonated deeply with parents in the midst of child-rearing. Her warm yet stimulating insights were so moving that some were brought to tears.
“If you move forward even by 1mm, allow yourself to feel ‘Gokigen’ (happy and content).”
“Experience the joy of producing, not just consuming.”
“Value the ‘margin’ (yohaku) to believe in and watch over a child’s inner strength.”
“Show your children what it looks like to enjoy life and live with integrity.”
