さくらインターナショナルスクール初等部は、この度、国際バカロレア機構（IBO）より、プライマリー・イヤーズ・プログラム（PYP）の認定校として正式に認可されましたことをお知らせいたします。これにより、関西国際学園・さくらインターナショナルスクールが教育理念としている「日英バイリンガルの探究学習を通して、創造力と責任感を持って国際社会に貢献するリーダーの育成」を実現する教育環境をさらに強化してまいります。
さくらインターナショナルスクール初等部は、2021年の開校以来、関西国際学園のグループ校として、ともに日英バイリンガルの探究学習を通して、「行為主体性、尊敬、好奇心、共感、誠実さ」を人物像として目指して学びを深めてきました。
IB PYP認定校となったことで、さくらインターナショナルスクール初等部は、国際バカロレアの教育フレームワークに沿って、さらに質の高い教育を提供してまいります。
探究的な学びを一層推進し、子どもたちが、人・社会・世界の問題を自分のことと捉え、日本も含めたグローバル社会の課題解決に積極的に貢献し、解決しようとするグローバルリーダーへと成長できるよう、教職員一同、尽力してまいります。
We are pleased to announce that Sakura International School has been officially accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization as a Primary Years Program (PYP) school. We will continue to build an educational environment that exemplifies our school vision: “Developing creative and responsible leaders who can contribute to global society through inquiry-based Japanese-English bilingual education.”
Since its founding in 2021, as part of the Kansai International Academy , Sakura International School has worked to foster ”agency, respect, curiosity, empathy and integrity” in our students through our Japanese-English bilingual inquiry-based learning.
By becoming an IB PYP-accredited school, Sakura International School will continue to adhere to the I.B educational framework and provide an even higher quality education.
Teachers and staff will continue to collaborate to promote inquiry-based learning and encourage students to take an active interest in interpersonal, societal and global issues. Students will learn how to solve global issues and develop into future global leaders.
