先生として最も大切にしていることは？What is the most important thing to keep in mind as an educator?
教えること・知識などと子どもたちが自分で経験して学ぶ環境を持つことのバランス。
教えること＝ひらがな・カタカナ・漢字、語彙（日本語英語）、言葉遣い、鉄棒でどうやって前回りをするか、アートの技法（ハサミの使い方やのりの量など）など
自分で経験して学ぶ環境＝のりが少なくて剥がれたからもっと塗ろう、友だちとおもちゃをシェアしたら一緒に遊べてもっと楽しい感覚
自分で経験して学ぶ環境を整える、先生としてそれを待つ余裕を持つ、がずっと難しいけれど大切にしている感覚です。
Maintaining a balance between teaching and giving them knowledge and making sure they can learn on their own through experiences.
What I teach them:
Hiragana, katana, kanji, vocabulary in both English and Japanese, language usage, how to do a front hip circle, etc.
Creating an environment where they can learn for themselves:
I teach them to apply more glue when there isn’t enough, or teach them the joy of sharing toys with friends, etc.
I try to create an environment in which they can learn for themselves and I try to have patience during those moments.

「好奇心を刺激する」環境と「それを深めて自分の言葉で表現できるようになる子」を育てる環境があります。
毎日学習の時間もあるが、それが子どもの好奇心とリンクして、「もっと聞いて欲しい」「もっと知りたい」につながるように「英語学習」「日本語学習」「算数」などが「探究学習」「アート」「体を動かす活動」などとリンクしています。
KIA enables children to stimulate and develop their curiosity, helping them find the words to express it.
They study English, Japanese, math, engage in inquiry-based learning, art and exercise. All of these things are tied to the children’s curiosity and makes them eager to express themselves and learn more.
ワークライフバランスは？How is the work-life balance at KIA?
個人的に保育士という仕事は持ち帰りの仕事が多いイメージでしたが、園での仕事時間内で仕事を終わらせられるようになりました。それにより、切り替えて自分の時間を持つことができています。
先生は授業準備・生徒の様子や成績を付ける・イベント準備・保護者対応など目に見えない仕事もたくさんありますが、会社として先生の仕事量と実務時間のつり合いが取れているか、先生たちからフィードバックを得る機会も持ってくれているのがありがたく、自分が働き始めてからでも柔軟に改善している実感があります。
I had this image that working in kindergarten meant that I had to bring work home but now I am able to finish work at kindergarten. I can switch off and spend time for myself.
Teachers have jobs that are not in the job description like preparing for class and events, writing observations, grading and talking to parents and guardians. At KIA, there are opportunities for feedback from teachers so that the amount of work can fit within work hours. Things have improved since I started working here thanks to the flexibility.

If you are interested in working at our company, you are probably interested in things like English education for kindergarten children, early childhood learning, inquiry-based learning, and developing children’s non-cognitive skills. No teacher is perfect. Everyone is learning and interested in different things, which makes it possible to create a new, unique education. Seeing the future leaders who will spread their wings across the world is eye-opening. It is important to take initiative and be willing to learn new things! As teachers, of course our job is to teach but at the same time, we learn so much from the children and I feel that I am constantly growing. Let’s experience all the ups and downs together with the children!
