前職は？ Previous occupation
以前は英会話スクールでマネージャーとして勤務していました。保育とはまた違った環境でしたが、日中から夕方まではほとんど幼児向けのクラスだったので、日々子どもたちと一緒に遊んだり、話をしたりして過ごしていました。
Previously, I worked as a manager for an English conversation school. Although it was different from my current workplace, it was similar in the sense that because most of the classes were for kindergarten children from midday to the evening, I was able to play with them and talk with them.
やりがいを感じる時はどんな時ですか？What has been the most rewarding moment of your teaching career so far?
子どもたちが「できた！」と言ってキラキラした笑顔を見れる瞬間にやりがいを感じます。日々生活する中でそのような場面をたくさん見るのですが、長期的にみると日常で起こる小さな成長の積み重ねが大きな成長につながっていて一年を振り返ったときに「本当に大きく成長したな」と子どもたちの変化を近くで向き合いサポートできることに日々やりがいを感じています。
I feel rewarded when children have a spark in their eyes and tell me “I did it!” with a smile. Small moments like that can add up over a period of time. When you reflect on their growth, it becomes apparent that they have come a long way. I feel rewarded daily because I get to be up close watching the children grow and supporting them.
職場の雰囲気や環境はいかがですか？What are your thoughts on working relationships with your coworkers and the support system?
チームとして一丸となって協力し合うことができる環境だと思います。何か課題があっても手を差し伸べてくれる方ばかりで、常に「みんなで解決していく」という雰囲気があります。私自身も入社当初からリーダーやマネージャーの方々に日々支えていただいた思い出があり、それが今に繋がっていると思います。産休育休を経て復帰し、日々楽しく働けているのも周りの支えがあったからだと思います。
Everyone helps each other and works together as one. Whenever a problem arises, we solve problems together by being there for each other. Ever since I started working here, leaders and managers have supported me and that has led me to where I am today. I am able to enjoy working after taking parental leave thanks to all the support I have received from everyone.
ワークライフバランスは？How is the work-life balance at KIA?
すごくバランスが取れていると思います。私自身も子育て真っ最中ですが、帰宅後にも子どもとの時間を確保したり、週末はしっかり休んだり、家族や友人と楽しく過ごしています。長期のお休みもあるので旅行へ行って自分の世界を広げたり、ゆっくり好きなことをしてリフレッシュする時間を確保することができているので、仕事とプライベートの時間をバランスよく分けて生活ができています。
The work-life balance is great. I am raising a child and I’m able to spend time with my child after I go home. On weekends, I can rest or I spend time with family and friends. During long breaks, I can spend it expanding my horizon and relax by doing things that I enjoy. I have a great balance between my work life and private life.

私は入社から今まで、本当に毎日が学びの連続でした。その環境は今も毎日続いています。日々自らも学ぶ姿勢を保っていられるのは、研修制度が整っていたり、高め合えるたくさんの仲間がそばにいること、そして毎日どんどん成長をしていく子どもたちの姿があるからだと思っています。キラキラと目を輝かせる子どもたちの姿を支えながら見届けられることは、仕事のやりがいに直結し、毎日充実した日々を過ごしています。今の仕事ができて私は本当にうれしく思っています。興味を持っていただいているのであれば、あとは挑戦してみるのみです。一緒に働ける日を楽しみにしております。
Since the day I joined KIA, I’ve been learning something new everyday. I’m able to maintain this attitude because of the training programs at KIA. I’m surrounded by people who lift each other up and I see the children growing everyday. Seeing the children’s eyes light up makes me feel fulfilled everyday at work and there is never a dull moment.
