関西国際学園では、日本では数少ないドラマ教育をカリキュラムに取り入れており、ドラマ教育の成果発表の場として年に一度スクールプロダクションを公演しています。

幼稚園部では表現する楽しさを学び、初等部ではクラス全員が共同作業を通して、社会的スキルを養います。舞台本番だけではなく、その過程の中でこその学びや、その過程で得た自信が、プロダクションの何より大きな成果であると考えています。
そして中高等部のDPでは「Theatre」を取り入れ、芸術が個人及び文化的アイデンティティを形成する上で、どのような役割を果たすのかについて理解を深めていきます。

そんなKIAドラマ教育の集大成となる中高等部KIAプロダクションを、在校生の保護者をはじめ、一般の方にもご覧いただきたく、一般公開する運びとなりました。

Information Regarding Kansai International Academy Secondary School KIA Production

KIA Secondary School is one of the few schools in Japan to introduce a drama education into the curriculum and to showcase the results of the education, we hold a school production annually.

During Kindergarten, students learn to enjoy expressing themselves. At Elementary, students learn social skills by cooperating with each other. It is in this process that the students learn invaluable lessons and the confidence that they take away is the most important achievement of the production.
As a subject in DP, Theatre is being offered at KIA Secondary School  and the students learn about how art plays a role in deepening not only personal but cultural identity. 

 the secondary KIA Production, the culmination of KIA's drama education, will be open for the public, including parents of current students and the general public.

Those who wish to view the production will be asked to present identification (driver's license, student ID card, my number card) at reception.
