最近では、AIが私たちの暮らしのさまざまな場面で活躍するようになり、
「これからの時代、もう算数なんて勉強しなくてもいいのでは？」
そんな声を耳にすることも増えてきました。
たしかに、AIは計算も正確で速く、複雑な処理もお手のもの。
でも、果たしてそれで“算数を学ぶ意味”はなくなってしまうのでしょうか？
今回のCoffee Morningでは、「算数って何のために学ぶの？」「これからの子どもたちにとって、どんな力が必要なの？」といった疑問について、一緒に考えていきます。
さらに、本校での具体的な実践もご紹介しながら、
子どもたちが目を輝かせる“愉しい算数”の姿についてもお話しします。
子どもたちが「分かった！」「できた！」と感じる瞬間には、AIにはできない大切な学びが詰まっています。

AI is used in many aspects of our daily lives and we often hear that learning math isn’t necessary anymore because of AI.
AI can be accurate and fast at calculations as well as handle complicated tasks. But does that mean we don’t need to learn math anymore?
For this Coffee Morning, we will think about why we learn math and what kind of skills are going to be necessary in the future.
Also, we will use class examples to talk about the times students have expressed joy when learning math.
The students’ precious “eureka” moments cannot be replaced by AI.
