IB DP「日本語」 ― PYP / MYPからDPへ、思考を深める学び ―

【内容】
国際バカロレア（IB）の学びは、幼少期から一貫して、言語を通じて「考える力」と「表現する力」を育てることを重視しています。
今回のCoffee Morningでは、その学びが高等部のDiploma Programme（DP）でどのように発展していくのか、「Japanese A（言語と文学）」の授業を中心にご紹介します。

PYPからMYPで培われた探究の姿勢を生かしながら、DPでは作品やことばをより多角的に読み解き、自分の考えを言葉にしていきます。
IBの日本語教育がDPへとつながる学びの流れをたどりながら、生徒がどのように作品を読み、自分の考えを言葉にしていくのかを、授業での様子や実際の課題例などを交えてお話しします。

IB DP Japanese ―from PYP to MYP to DP: a learning process that deepens the students’ thought processes―

【Content】
The International Baccalaureate is focused on building students’ ability to think and express themselves through language from a very young age.

For this Coffee Morning, we will discuss how student learning unfolds in the Diploma Programme in high school, focusing on how Japanese A (Language and Literature) is taught.

The students use their inquiry skills that they learned in the PYP and MYP to analyze literature and language from multiple perspectives and express their thoughts.
We will have an overview of how the IB Japanese program leads into the DP program using real examples from class. We will also learn how students analyze literature and express themselves.
