【テーマ】今を生きるα世代と大人の関係作りを考える
【スピーカー】関西国際学園初等部 教員 古谷公一
【目的】
3way conference（三者懇談）などで保護者の方々とお話しする際に、「子どもたちにどうやって学習への意欲を持たせるか」や「大人の思いが子どもたちにうまく伝わらないとき、どうすれば良いか」といった相談を受けることがあります。今回のCoffee Morningでは、こうした相談に寄り添いながら、皆さんと一緒に考える機会を共有していきます。
【内容】
「子どもたちがどのようなことに興味を持つのか」「どうすれば学習に興味を持つのか」について、α世代（今の子どもの世代）の特徴をもとに、皆さんと一緒に考えていきたいと思います。また、保護者の方々がイメージしやすいように、普段のKIAの教育活動を例に挙げて説明するとともに、ご家庭でもできるアプローチについてもお伝えできればと考えています。

【Purpose】
During conversations with parents such as during the 3 way conference, the school received concerns from parents about how to motivate students to study or how difficult it can be to convey exactly what they want to their children. For this coffee morning, we hope this will be a great opportunity for all of us to think about how we can address these concerns.
【Content】
We would like to take this time for all of us to think about the students’ interests and how we can engage their interests based on Generation Alpha’s (current students) characteristics. We will also provide examples of KIA’s educational activities so that parents can have a clear picture of how to address these concerns at home.
