日本語圏に住む者としてのアイデンティティを確立した上で、日英バイリンガルのIB教育を受けてきた子どもたちがIB DP（国際バカロレア高等教育）を経て進学する先は、国内外問わずさまざまな選択肢が存在します。高校時点で明確な夢を持つ生徒もいれば、自分自信の可能性についてまだまだ模索中の生徒もいます。KIAは大きな人生の岐路に向き合う若者一人ひとりが、「自分は何者か？」ということに、安心して向き合うことができる教育機関でありたいと願っています。
そんなKIAのIBDP後の先輩達の進路について、またその他の選択肢について解説していきます。また、IBDPを取得した生徒にとってのアドバンテージとも言える欧州（非英語圏）国立大学進学についても触れていきます。

Theme: “The Future of Bilingual Japanese-English IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) Students: Exploring European Public University Options and Diverse Pathways”

Having a strong sense of identity as residents of the Japanese-speaking community, students who have embraced the bilingual Japanese-English IB education face a wide range of options for their future, both nationally and internationally. Some students may enter high school with clear aspirations, while others are still exploring the vast possibilities within themselves. KIA aspires to be an educational institution where each young individual confronting life’s significant crossroads can confidently answer the question, ‘Who are we?’
With these things in mind, we will look at the paths taken by KIA’s IBDP graduates and explore various alternatives available to them. Additionally, we will delve into the option of pursuing higher education at renowned public universities in non-speaking speaking countries in Europe, a choice that could be considered an advantage for IBDP graduates.
European public universities, particularly those in non-English speaking countries, have gained attention from educational institutions worldwide. We will explore the reasons behind their popularity and the lack of awareness about these institutions in Japan. Our aim is to delve deep into these aspects during the session.
