KIAの中等部では、2017年からIBの中等教育カリキュラムであるMYP（Middle year’s programme）のフレームワークを導入しています。MYPの要素を段階的に実施していくところから始め、全カリキュラムの理解へと深めてきました。2021年11月にIB MYP候補校となり、5月には最初の審査を受けました。IBのコンサルタントからも、現段階のMYPプログラムの進捗について高い評価を受けています。今回のCoffee Morningは、KIAのMYPコーディネーターがスピーカーとして登場します。

Theme : Introduction to the MYP
Guest Speaker: KIA Secondary Academic Vice Principal and MYP Coordinator: Ms. Solène Matsushita
We have been implementing the MYP framework since 2017. We started with implementing some of the elements of the MYP, and we slowly have built an understanding of the overall framework. We became an MYP candidate school in November 2021, and we had our consultation in May this year. Our consultant’s overall feedback was very positive as he thought that the school is quite advanced in its implementation of the MYP programme at this stage. In this Coffee morning, we will invite KIA MYP Coordinator as a guest speaker.
