We have an interconnected program of ELC and kindergarten, starting at the age of 6 months. With bilingual English education as the core, we also provide music, gymnastics, Japanese, Mathematics classes in an integrated curriculum to enhance the students’ learning. The children have the opportunity to advance to elementary school where they can study in a smaller class, allowing students to experience a consistent educational program from ELC and kindergarten right through to elementary school. Graduates from our elementary school are now showcasing their tremendous leadership skills in both public and private junior high schools. Saturday school and after school programs are also popular for upskilling in English.
Sakura International School

We have an interconnected program of ELC and kindergarten, starting at the age of 6 months. With bilingual English education as the core, we provide other disciplines as electives. Sakura International School was set up with the aim of spreading bilingual education further. For those who live too far away from Higashi Osaka and Ashiya, we have set up schools downtown for easy access around the Kansai region. Resources, teaching methods and programs are equivalent to that of Kansai International School. Saturday school and after school programs for improving English is popular at Sakura International school as well.
Course



- Long Course
- 1 year old to kindergarten -
(optional days, 8:00-18:00)
We take care of the children for a longer period every day for the convenience of those who work or live far away. After the regular classes children have nap time, snack time, and supervision time where they play and interact freely with teachers and other children. At kindergarten these hours are used for elective classes.
- Semi-Long Course – 1 to 3 years old
(Mon – Fri, 8:00-18:00)
For the convenience of those who work or live far away, parents can choose 3 or 4 days a week which we take care of the children for a longer period. The days and number of days are changeable by month.
- Short Course (ELC)
- 1 year old to pre-kindergarten (Mon – Fri, 10:00 – 14:00)
We take care of the children just for the 4 hour class time, and parents can choose between 1 and 5 days a week. The days and number of days are changeable by month. Extension care is also available in cases where parents cannot come to pick up the children in time due to various circumstances.
- Short Course (K) – K1, K2 & K3
(Mon -Fri, 9:30 – 14:30, time differs with year)
Children come every day from Mon to Fri. We provide bilingual education through a solid original curriculum. With extension care children can join elective classes and club activities. We have outside school trips and visits over 10 times every year.
- Morning Class
- 6 months to 2 years old (Wed & Fri, 9:10 – 9:50)
Children join in together with their parents. The classes include songs, dances, and over 20,000 flash cards. We provide right-brain training in an attempt to cultivate the children’s knowledge and potential while getting used to English.
- After-hours Care (bookings required)
- 1 year old to kindergarten (7:30 – 8:00, 18:00 – 19:00)
We can take care of children outside of the usual business hours in case of unavoidable appointments and other events. For early morning we require pre-arrangement, but for the evening arrangements can be made with a single phone call.

- Saturday English Conversation Class
- Kindergarten to Elementary (Saturday 10:00 -14:00)
We provide English classes for children who attend other kindergartens and elementary schools. We fully utilize the four-hour class time, not only for studying but also eating lunch and playing freely in the playground where the children acquire real-life English.
- After-school English Conversation Class
- Kindergarten to Elementary (Mon – Fri 15:30 – 17:00 for Kindergarten and 16:30 – 18:00 for Elementary)
We provide English classes for children who attend other kindergartens and elementary schools. Our experienced native teachers, who teach our fulltime students, provide an enjoyable learning environment teaching from our original KIA curriculum. Each school can also make adjustments to the various levels of the children.
